Arrived in Berlin this morning. We’ve been working and traveling non-stop so we took a break for a couple of hours which felt like a whole day off. Jim and I rushed into town to buy some new shoes for him, and we bumped into some very special people along the way…

It was our taxi driver’s first day which is always a treat to experience.

I think this is a shop for really really really really really really really, really… really fat people.

Berlin takes pride in its clean streets.

I’m not entirely sure what this was.

We befriended a guy named Rolph who washed all our filthy clothes for us and made us the best latte we’ve ever had. More to come from him a little later…

The Shot By Kern European road team actually just dumped a whole bunch of updates on their sister blog. Start with this entry if you insist on doing them in order. Oh, and last time we forgot to mention that Jim Demuth is directing all these new episodes as well co-blogging the whole ordeal with Pegah. Sorry about that, Jim. Although we feel obliged to mention that right now her posts are destroying yours.

marktwaint: oh you're not entirely sure what that was? obviously it's a full grown man who had the best time of his life when he was seven and an extra in Hook.

Jules: I thought the days of new taxi driver ignorance were over since the advent of navigation systems.

badass: that is a ridiculous bike in the top picture, i saw a dude ripping around brooklyn on one similar. it must be a bitch if you fall off, a long way to the ground.

probono: that is an officially fat store. i thought obesity was a serious american issue, but it appears that the germans are plagued by this condition even worse.

SearsPoncho: If you need an 8-X shirt I believe it's time to stop shopping off the rack and get your fat ass to a tailor. And get on a diet of epic proportions.

TammyFaye: Was there a flyer-passer-outer convention or does Berlin always look that trashy? Do Berliners carry paper with them at all times and dispose of it in random places in the city?
