Milano: "This is obviously the idea of alienation" and he continues briefly after to call the US and EU arrogant, but I think the cop was right in the beginning. This guy is surely part of a Mexican elite, so maybe he should be more considerate with his opinions On the other hand the ethnocentrism practiced in the western world is appalling

anonymous: The photos of the police "fiesta-ing" kind of remind me of the Abu Ghraib photos. Authority figures ignore laws, exploit people, and generally do disturbing things, gleefully documenting every minute of it.

anonymous: You should’ve seen the amazing social practice stunt Yoshua Okon pulled at High Desert Test Sites for the California Biennial this year. Seriously, one of the most offensive, awkward, conscious-jarring comments on class delineation I’ve ever witnessed. He simultaneously destroys the ’author,’ while elevating the spectator to a ’participant,’ and then convinces you the participants make the ’piece’ and BAM! A nine-year-old boy hands you a White Russian when you realize you’d be better off riding shotgun with Jackson Pollock.

anonymous: its cool to see some people who really know what they are doing. i dont know many people who are able to manifest their thoughts as good as this guy. he talks a lot? there was not one word unnecessary. i mean, the difference is obvious, just watch the other episodes of art talk... more than half, especially the ny artists, are crap.. they do crap, talk crap.. waste of time and space..

anonymous: I hope all you Williamsburg dipshits learn what is real art after seeing these motherfuckers. I haven’t seen anything even remotely like this in the NY scene. There’s no teeth, no claws, just a bunch of idiots screenprinting T shirts to sell at the Brooklyn Flea Market.

anonymous: They approached some pretentious hipster to make these video? Try Yoshua Okon made these videos nearly 10 years ago and they swept the Mexican art world full force before moving on to the rest of the world art world.

anonymous: retarded shit. Vice likes cops, but is scared of looking at them in the eye so they just approach a priviledged pretentious dipshit hipster that likes to do a half assed harmony korine on some cops. The fact they are mexican (and if they are mexcian they have to be badass no) gives some beef to the self delusion .
