Consume: Man, to see this footy of the "LA boys" and see their comments in the present is so crazy.....that section, is my favorite video part of all times...I guess it was so cool to me because they were all young, my same age at the time, and they seemed like regular kids that just ripped....I could relate to the street skating, and the urban environment much better than to superstar guys skating vert or pools....It was also cool, because I thought they were all Mexican, (yes even Mariano--at the time there was the urban legend that his grandmother lived in Guadalajara.....ha ha ha...) I grew up in Mexico City so I was totally stoked...I would watch that section over and over, on my bootleg Beta videotape!!! And the music got me so hyped to session!!
GabeK: good tribute to early 90's skateboarding where the streets were glam-less and the decks were wide. the gonz did a lot for the 90's and is a legend whether he likes it or not. guy mariano rips , hands down. I give this EL episode 4 adidas skate shows out of 5.

anonymous: I haven’t read all the comments here. so maybe someone mentioned it. but its interesting to hear Jason Lee say what he says [in the end]. Skaters say that stuff now. That must have been back in 1990-’91 when guys like Koston or MJ said skating was so much easier.

anonymous: Felipe, I hear what you’re saying but take me literally: I would rather see J Lee do his smooth 180 flips then Koston exercising all his trickery. Put another way, I’d rather see J Lee smooth and simple than crazy super tech. Its not intended to be an indictment of Koston, just the types of skating I prefer to do and watch.
