anonymous: Look at that Huf ad. "Skate Messenger Bag" That dude would try and market rollerblades as part of skateboarding if he could make money off it.

anonymous: Sharp, succinct, beautifully laid out story. The viewer is pulled along into the story about the skaters. It is hard to turn off.

anonymous: Hey Pat, Being that you have great appreciation for Video Days (as do many of us out here), I hope you’re considering a Video Days series. You have all these vids as part of your Lakai series; I hope to see the Gonz, Jason Lee and Rudy with their own eps! Great work, Pat. Love this series.

anonymous: skated lockwood in high school first time in probably 95 or 96. I wasnt scared but it was a trip being there after all those video parts. The fountain/vermont corner spot was also a good spot to hit

anonymous: I always find it weird when I find out that the skatespots you see in videos are actually really crowded most of the time. You don’t see too many people in the background in those videos. Let alone to hear that they were gang areas where you could get jacked. Imagine showing up there for the first time cause you were saw it in a video and you wind up getting jacked or your ass kicked. Bummer. Damn those great Cali schoolyards! Wish we had them in Jersey.
