anonymous: thanks for the answers. i was a little freaked out before because odell says he doesn’t want people like me watching this show. i saw the part the other day and that still holds up. its not as many stairs or as big as wallenberg, but for what it is and when it was I can respect that. he’s still cutting edge, everyone started taking double grinds and combos so seriously after fully flared. i dont know if thats good or bad tho.

anonymous: Yeah, Penny has the same thing going on. And he’s said before that Guy was his favorite skater. And both of them are in a lot of pros’ favorites lists. Definitely two of the greatest skaters of all time.

anonymous: I was never that exposed to Mariano, I started skating in the late 90’s, but watching these reminds me of the legend that surrounds Tom Penny.
anonymous: Mariano is a sick skater, as are most of the dudes featured on this show, but the partied-out-pitty-party stories are cliche. Doesn’t everyone go through a party/drug/fuckit phase? Of course everything is relative, and addiction is no joke, but its hard to sympathize with some of the lifestyle choices made by these dudes.
