PayPayPerry: Every record that Albini has touched sounds like something akin to a demo tape made by high schoolers ready to totally rock the battle of the bands.

Waheed_McJackson: oh goody! i finally get to see an interview with one of the few people in music who's opinion i actually give a shit about and some douche-stain in a white suit blows it by trying to be "funny". way to go. fuck this ian svenonius shitbag. i kept wishing steve would just get up and punch him in the mouth for being a scenester faggot. fuck him, nation of ulysses sucks.

CertainSparks: Steve seems as if he just won't let anyone agree with him. He spouts some rehearsed rant, and then a cute little joke. The audience just eats it up. They're all like, "I'm with Steve", "I was totally gonna say that". Passive Aggresivity gets on my damed nerves. I'm gonna start calling him the Admiral.

vibemagazine: hahah he just told the guy he represents a collision between science and art!

vibemagazine: oh shit Ian should read books on tape! I'd buy that!

BirdistheWord: he says the city (chicago) was built on dirt and cornfields, but isn't that what every city is built on?

purel: any other linux users having trouble watching any of these? i'd really like to watch the dead moon one too. goddamn.

lazyeyezkilla: albini is a jedi master. who gives a shit if he likes cats purring. he could drop reverb and delay on purrs and make it win a grammy.

BaconBits: i'd like to be a 9.9 right about now.

beetlejuice: cats purring is definitely a wonderful sound... but cats purring= music? hm. not really.

badabing: albini is just really into the kitties. the thought of him youtubing cat videos is great though... Ian didnt seem to appreciate it however

JoeyCarrera: i understand when people prefer one type of pet over another, but after owning my own cat for so long, i've noticed myself getting along very well with other cat owners. it's weird. maybe people who prefer cats have a similar personality?

electrocity: Im not sure I am a big fan of Ian's interview style. I don't really want to hear what Steve Albini has to say about the economy. Im half way through the interview and I dont think he has even said the word "music"... I mean, come on.

johndoe: Ian is usually pretty good about asking the right kinds of questions and fostering discussion. i do see what you mean though. there are a few things that I would have wanted to hear albini talk about that weren't even brought up in this interview

road_kill: wait it out. the interview takes a better direction towards the end..
yoyomama: i dunno if I would say it "takes a better direction" in the end of the interview... in my opinion it got kind of awkward towards the end cause they started just blatantly disagreeing with each other and challenging each other. but maybe thats good? eh. who knows...

tallywacker: if you want to hear what this man can do, google "in utero albini mix" and download it. you will have a new appreciation for music production.

ghostfingers: The Second City? I haven't heard the Coldcut Capital of the World before. Second City is much better.

blacklung: i never thought about how strange it is for bands to hear themselves on tape. the way he puts it gives me a new respect for producers as well as musicians that self-produce.

leeharveygriswald: albini could make a chorus of farts sound like beethoven at his peak. i'm glad to see he's a normal dude for the most part. it was hilarious when he said vocalists are into their own shit more than anyone else.

MF: Facebook, with a chance of iChat. Ian doesn't like technology.

chickadee: they touch on a really interesting issue about electronic communication... is it a good thing or is it the demise of human interaction? Im thinking Ian would think the latter

pobodysnerfect: they'll do everything they can to answer your question in chicago? hmmm not sure if i can agree with that one
