Overmen: I feel sorry for the Jews, the ran from the Nazis to be surrounded by Arabs in both cases they face annihilation one way or the other. Damn religion, damn nationalism, it is the core reason. And it is a dead lock.

AbuAli: Many of you are missing the point here. You think these kids who grow up in the shadows of war would, witnessing atrocities from birth would grow up playing with thier fricken ipods and wanting following the latest pokemon trends had it not been for these people brainwashing them. Please don't be pretentious and ignorant...beleive me, growing up being bombed and oppressed screws you up!

lpankhurst: Half the Islamofacist hate against the west is driven by the USA's perceived support for the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians. When will the world wake up and realise this ?

NEOES: Wow...some of this is crazy. The cartoon especially. We shelter our youth from everything (sometimes with failure) but they openly talk about political crisis, anti-Israeli sentiment, martyrdom...in a cartoon. It's astonishing to me.

NEOES: One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. That phrase will never go away because it's true. Especially in this case.

NEOES: What do you expect? This is a conflict that seems to have no end. You didn't think these stateless, permanently refugee people wouldn't fight to the absolute death?

vazap: Again, disappointed... I found this doc to show: ignorance and a strong subjective view, for one that's supposed to be objective and learned. Spike Jonze: "What is Hezbollah?" - I was expecting better... I'm reasonably educated, french and peruvian, lived in Paris, Ireland, London and LA. Not orthodox one way or another. But I mean come on, such a naive question? I do love his work though. Of course terrorism is bad. Let's not say evil so as not to sound like someone we all wish we could forget. But finger pointing has never helped. Nor mono-lateral approached of subjects such as these. Hatred of Americans in Lebanon? Really, is this big news? Should we ponder over the inner workings of that hatred rather than simply feel offended? I was really hoping for VBS to show the way to a modern, pluralistic view on the world in general, not just the world outside NYC...

daisyshock: Its incredible how children in countries like this aren't really treated as children. They are practically being trained to kill from the womb.

mimib1230: Action, reaction. Nothing happens on such a great and horrible scale without a reason, without a cause. I ask everybody who immediately turns their back in disgust, returning to their comfortable lives, to ask themselves what would cause thousands of people to become this desperate in their cause. You cannot ask for peace without first offering standards of living - food, water, a home, education. You cannot kick people out of their homes and then say "peace! peace!", because it will never work. You cannot refuse a country any form of military and expect them not to create their own in any way they know how. This is the monster Israel has created. It's horrific. It's sad. One day I hope to see it end. No child should be sent out to wage war. I'd also like to add that not all of Lebanon behaves like this, as depicted in the video. Most Beiruties are very educated, modern, and what we would consider "normal." These people are located mostly outside of Beirut in the South of Lebanon.
