anonymous: The heads on the floor is ridiculous, if that isn’t going to send a message then nothing is. There is a weird fascination with death, I think everyone rubbernecks to try and catch a glimpse of an incedent, perhaps because it could happen to them. This is a kickass documentary.

anonymous: i used to always think that they never made decapitated heads look real enough in movies. but after seeing the photo of the heads on the dance floor, i can see that those filmmakers were actually pretty spot on. the heads actually look FAKE.

anonymous: Im working on the theory that culturally we have become distanced from ’real’ or ’natural’ death, and it has replaced sex and is the final taboo. This kind of publication is a form of porn, neither right or wrong, but expresses how culturally we are both repulsed and attracted. The only way we seem to be exposed to death or its image is through mayhem/violence and torture whereas most of us will just die of natural causes. Death anxiety is used by control agencies to manipulate thought, so exposure to death and acceptance of it is a way of freeing the mind.
anonymous: damn, this guy is as hardcore as the photos he takes. I couldn’t even imagine taking photos of corpses all day, but admitting to being able to take photos of your own relatives is another thing. this guy is a photographer no doubt, but jesus where do you draw the line? i admire his spirit and passion but i’m honestly not sure what to think about any of his morals or boundaries (if any).
