I’ve visited several times before the summer of 2006 and was truly heartbroken at the destruction the Israelis once again inflicted on Beirut, which had only recently recovered from the ’80’s. The US media both under and mis-reports on what is truly happening there.

twelveinchsoft: i remeber that article where VICE travelled to beirut and skateboarded. i was drinking at a bar when i read it and was actually pretty stunned to think there was a skatepark there. (i thought that whole area was a pile of rubble thanks to my own ignorance and modern media)...anyways i enjoy your news pieces and i am looking forward to this follow up.
