JoshuaCalvert: another inaccurracy, but from the comments of the attorney for tamil against genocide: the tamil conflict has always had a terrorist component. If I remember right, I read from a french military magazine (raid, in an issue in the years 2000-2002 not sure exactly but it might have been just before or just after 9/11) that srilanka was the country most targeted by terrorism and the order of magnitude was 10+ times more than in Israel, something insane like ~400 suicide bombings per year.
What did strike me at the time of my reading was the number of terrorist acts + the fact that it was not religiously related + the fact that children and women were involved. I am pretty sure it was before 9/11 actually.

anonymous: you obviously did not watch this series. there are clips of the sri lankan government speaking and you’re missing the point. this is supposed to show what is going on on the tamil side. the sri lankan side was being covered on all the news outlets. the reason they did this was to show the side not being seen on YOUR biased news networks.

anonymous: one thing i adamantly agree with is what she says about fighting terrorism. the government must be changed in order to see change and make a difference. trying to kill off all terrorists will not work.
